University of Greenwich Representative Visited DIA

On 23 August 2016, Dr. A K M Mahtab Hossain, the representative from University of Greenwich visited Daffodil International Academy (DIA), the renowned education provider of Bangladesh.
The representative attended the series of meeting with the management committee, faculty staffs and students separately in the day long program. He has also visited the physical infrastructure of DIA. Mr. Larren Heah Yeow Kuan, Academic Development Manager (Asia) of NCC Education, UK; Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, the Chairman of DIA & Daffodil Group, Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, the Executive Director of DIA and other high officials of DIA were present at the occasion. The objective of his visit was to check the quality assurance (QA Visit) of University of Greenwich Programs at DIA. The representatives expressed his highest satisfaction at the end of their visit. It is here to mention that the University of Greenwich (UoG) recognizes B. Sc (Hon’s) in IT programs of DIA. In this system of education, the students study the syllabus provided by the UoG, question papers are set and exam scripts are checked in the UoG and final exams are conducted by the British council.

The programme acts as the final year of the NCC Education degree journey, building on the knowledge and skills introduced by the Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) and the Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC). Successful students will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Greenwich.

Entry Requirements

For entry onto the BSc (Hons) Computing qualication students must have at least
one of the following:

• NCC Education International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS)

• NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L5DC)

• NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (RQF) (L5DC BM)

• Equivalent qualification agreed in advance by the University of Greenwich and NCC Education

Academic Progression

On completion of the BSc (Hons) Computing Top-up Degree, graduates are eligible to apply for postgraduate and master’s degree study at institutions across the world.

• Students can also choose to study at the University of Greenwich on campus in the UK for various MSc options and are eligible for an alumni discount.

• NCC Education offer a Level 7 Diploma in Business Management, which is the first-year component of a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
